Doors

Enclosures typically include a front and/or rear door, which come in a variety of styles. Styles that are popular are the Aluminum Extruded frame perforated front doors and the Steel perforated rear doors which allows for the maximum front to rear cooling of the internal equipment.

When the heat load in the enclosure is not very high or other cooling methods are used such as fan tops with bottom to top air flow, doors such as Vented Lexan, Lexan, Solid Steel, and Vented Steel can be used. Each door offers a particular function and/or unique style.

RACKMOUNT ENCLOSURE DOORS

Martin Enclosures offers a variety of doors including aluminum extruded frame, steel perforated, solid steel, vented steel, Lexan® and vented Lexan®. Aluminum Extruded frame perforated doors have a 63% perforated open area and are used when high ventilation and cooling is required. These doors have a very nice aesthetic appearance with a rounded frame to match the enclosure frame radius. Steel Perforated Door (SPDs) have a steel frame with a 63% open insert to allow for premium ventilation. Solid steel doors are the most cost effective way to secure an enclosure when front and rear ventilation is not required. Vented steel doors have a vent pattern at the top and at the bottom of the door. Each vent pattern has a removable air flow panel to allow you to control where the air enters or exits the enclosure. Lexan® Doors are made with an aluminum extruded frame with a radius to match the enclosure for aesthetic appeal. Vented Lexan® Doors are made with an aluminum extruded frame with a radius to match the enclosure for aesthetic appeal and a vent panel all around the door.
